Bu seferki konuğumuz 96 model W140 kasa kodlu '96 model Mercedes-Benz S500. Araç şu anki sahibi tarafından keyif amaçlı olarak İstanbul'dan alınarak getirildi.
Henüz 86000km'de olan bu güzel araç, bir kaç talihsiz uygulama sonucunda oldukça yıpranmış bir boya ile bize geldi. Yeni sahibi araca çok önem verdiğinden ve koleksiyon amacı ile aldığından, olabilecek en iyi düzeltme ve bakım uygulamalarının yanında koruma olarakta en üst seviye de bir ürün istediğinden Opti-Coat 2.0 Seramik Kaplama uygulaması yaptık..

Araç İstanbul'dan geldikten sonra ufak tefek kaporta ve boya işleri için sanayide bir kaç gün geçirdi. Daha sonrasında sahibi tarafından bize teslim edildi ve yaklaşık 10 gün sürecek zorlu bir maratona başlamış olduk..

Araç boyut olarak neredeyse standart iki hb araç boyutunda yüzey alanına sahip olduğundan işlemler de bir o kadar yorucu ve uzun oldu.

Aracı teslim aldıktan sonra detaylı inceleme yapıp, yüzey üzerindeki kusurları ve düzeltilmesi gereken yerleri not aldım. Ardından ilk iş olarak Sensei APC kullanarak aracı kaba kirlerinden arındırdım.. Ön yıkamanın ardından, tekrar Sensei APC ile Foam Lance kullanarak aracı köpükleyip, çift kova ve Adam's Wash Pad kullarak aracı yıkadım..

Basınçlı sıcak su ile aracı duruladıktan sonra, Sensei APC ve çeşitli detay fırçaları kullanarak, tüm bağlantı aralıklarını ve tüm trimleri temizledim.

Chemical Guys Wooly Mammoth ve Uber Blue kurulama havlusu kullanarak aracı iyi kurulayıp içeri aldık.

Aracın içi de genel olarak pek temizlik görmemiş. Deri döşemeler ve tavan döşemesi oldukça kirliydi.

Aracın boya durumu aşırı kötü değildi ancak yine de bol miktarda kılcal çizik, hare ve RDS vardı. Bunların dışında iki arka çamurlu sonradan boyanmış ama yapılan işçilikler pek iç açıcı olmadığından o panellerdeki boya hatalarını düzeltmek için fazladan yarım gün uğraşmam gerekti..

Kasap boyacı arkadaş, kalın fırça ile kaputtaki taş izlerine rötuş yapmış ama hiç yapmasa daha iyi görünürmüş sanırım.. Yapılan işçilik rezalet olduğundan, tüm rötuşları selülozik tiner ile silip sıfırdan tekrar 2'şer kat olarak rötuş boyası ile doldurdum.

Rötuşları sildikten sonra alttan çıkan taş izleri. Nokta kadar taş izini kocaman fırça ile doldurmaya çalışan boyacı yüzünden kaput berbat görünüyordu. Sildikten sonra çok daha iyi göründü :)

Eski rötuşları temizledikten sonra, tüm taş izlerini tek tek ikişer kat doldurarak düzelttim. Sırf kaputtaki taş izlerini doldurmak için bile 6 saat kadar uğraşmam gerekti. Sanırım 300'den fazla taş izine rötuş yapmışımdır :rolleyes:

Aracın iç temizliği devam ederken polen filtresini söküp klima dezenfeksiyonu için Berner'in klima dezenfeksiyon köpüğünü kullandık. Köpük işlemleri bittikten sonra, aracın içerisindeki kalan kokuyu gidermek için de Berner koku bombası patlatıp, iç havalandırmayı 10dk çalıştıdık.

Diamond Cut alaşım jantlar, yılların verdiği yıpranma ile oldukça matlaşmıştı ve parlaklıklarını kaybetmişlerdi. Jantlarla baya uğraştık. Meguiar's Hot Rims Mag & Aluminium Polish ile yüzeydeki oksidasyonu ve matlaşmayı düzeltip, Meguiar's All Metal Polysh ile parlattık..

Boya düzeltme işlemlerine başlamadan önce boya kalınlıklarını ölçtüm. Ancak durum hiç iç açıcı değildi. Daha önce yapılan uygulamalar yüzünden vernik katmanı oldukça fazla incelmişti. Kaputta bazı noktalarda 55 mikron civarına kadar düşüyordu toplam boya kalınlığı.. Bu sebepten RDS'leri kendi hallerine bırakıp, kılcal çiziklere odaklandım.

Scholl Consepts S3 Gold ve Yeşil Polishing pad kullanarak tüm boyalı kısımları düzelttikten sonra, Scholl S30+ ve Scholl Sarı polishing pad ile parlatma işlemlerini bitirdim. Tüm polisaj işlemleri bittikten sonra, aracı tekrar dışarı alıp Sensei APC ile yıkayıp polisaj kalıntılarının tamamen temizlenmesini sağladık.
Yıkama ve kurulama işlemlerinin ardından Nanolex Paint Cleaner ile tüm boyalı kısımları 2 defa silip polisaj yağları vs. kalıntılardan tamamen arındırdım.

Daha sonra Opti-Coat 2.0 Seramik Kaplama uygulamasını bitirip aracı yaklaşık 20 saat kadar bekletip ilk aşama kürleşmesini tamamladığından emin olduktan sonra aracı teslim etmeye hazır hale getirdik. Lastiklere Würth lastik köpüğü sıkıp işlemleri tamamladık ve aracı sahibine teslim ettik.
