Psa/Bmw Prince motor ile Psa Tu motor benzerliği
Psa/Bmw ortaklığıyla geliştirilen, Prince motor ailesinden, 207rc/gt-mini cooper s r56'da kullanılan ep6 motorlar ile Psa'nın ürettiği 106-206-307-c2-c3-c4'lerde kullanılan tu5 motorların blok ve silindir kapağı benzerliğini araştırıyorum.

''The Prince family shares its basic block dimensions with the previous PSA TU engine family, but with bore and stroke measurements identical to the Tritec engine family. Some of the engineering was provided by BMW, including their Valvetronic variable valve lift system on the intake side. Other features include on-demand oil and water pumps. Gasoline direct injection with a twin-scroll turbocharger will be optional.[5]
All Prince engines will share 84 mm (3.3 in) cylinder spacing and a 77 mm (3 in) bore. The engine features a two-piece "bedplate" aluminum crankcase for extra stiffness.''
Kısaca anladığım kadarıyla; iki motorun blok ölçüleri aynı ama çap ve strok değerleri farklı diyor.(tu5 motorlarda çap:78.5mm strok:82mm, ep6 motorlarda çap:77mm strok:84mm) Ve ep6larda valvetronic sistemi ile harici yağ ve su pompası varmış.
