Ford has announced plans to introduce the Focus ST concept at the Paris Motor Show.

Set to go on sale in early 2012, the ST features an aerodynamic body kit, a massive air intake, 'Tangerine Scream' paint, and a center-mounted dual exhaust system. The dynamic styling carries over to the interior as the cockpit boasts two-tone leather sport seats, contrast stitching, and faux carbon fiber trim.

Power is provided by a 2.0-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder engine with 250 PS (184 kW / 247 hp). While the company is keeping additional specifications a closely guarded secret, Ford says the car delivers "...an intoxicating cocktail of exhilarating performance and handling accompanied by an addictive sound."

More importantly, for our friends on other side of the Atlantic, Ford stated the ST is the "first high-performance model developed under its global Performance Vehicles strategy." This seems to imply American availability, but nothing is official as of yet.
